This ghostly knealing figure was used in an earlier collage from this series. In that work he faced a deluge, here he is contemplating the void which could lterally be in the asteroid belt. Much like with the other collages, I had liberated myself from the requirement of cohesive subject matter before I started on a new work and I can't offer a satisfactory explanation for the meaning of this one. I usually worked with the assumption a meaning would become clear during the making or after completion. This character appears vaguely god-like; alone and omnipotent, in contrast to the characters who populate the scenarios explored in the rest of this series, they are subject to forces they are unable to control.
